Tommy Gunblade

"I'll be frank here. When I saw all four RWBY trailers, (or videos, whichever of the two) I pissed my pants seeing all the badass weapons used by most characters, such as a .50 cal AM scythe, 12ga. shotgun brass knuckles, 9mm pistol whip (no pun intended) and a rapier magnum to list a few. Shortly after, I began to work on a mass producible variable combat weapon system, or a Gunblade with firepower and versatility that challenges even the RWBY weapons that I had seen. The Tommy Gunblade, or the GB-R28 is a 5.56mm rendition of the Thompson M1928A1 (a.k.a. the Tommy Gun) combined with a folding katana blade. The user simply pushes a button on the back of the rifle to switch between the rifle and katana. However, it takes about half a second to switch. Keep that in mind.

The GB-R28 usually uses a 35 round straight magazine, but can be modified to accept various Magpul mags and the Beta C-Mag drum. To top it all off, the entire weapon uses the same materials as the VRS, mainly to reduce the weight and allow better handling while in sword mode.

Several of these were stolen and assigned to mass produced XENECON B.O.W. forces, including Nikita (the commander of the XENECON military forces) himself.
